Just like any other user, I have tried to get MongoDB for Windows from it's Main Page Download section.
And as a first class citizen I get it, there are 32 and 64 bit options. Cool!
They have made a very clever thin (11 Mb) installer which usage is amazingly simple.
You just need to download it.
Unpack it to a folder of your choice and you will see a plenty of programs.
Prepare a set of folders to support MongoDB.
Open a command prompt in the "D:\mongodb\bin" folder you have chosen before, and send the following command to install MongoDB as a Windows service:
mongod --install --dbpath E:\MongoDB\Data --logpath E:\MongoDB\Log\MongoDb.log
Putting MongoDB into Work
After Installed as a Service, You can configure it accordingly to your needs:
For MongoDB, you will need to find a third party GUI Admin tool.
I have made a research on this field, and find MongoVUE the most reliable.
There are others, but in general they will require some extra work to be useful.
MongoVUE is installed through a regular "msi" file.
With the service started You can use the MongoVUE Interface and start working:

Are You command line addicted?
Being TCP/IP the protocol used by CouchDB, you will need to use the MongoDB interactive shell which is already available in the "D:\mongodb\bin" folder.
You can manage Collections.
Get some statistics.
And Manage it.
